Introduction
James Bennett Photography is based in NSW Australia. We offer services in Sydney, Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and the Central Coast.
At James Bennett Photography we specialise in capturing your wedding in all its beauty and splendour. We are dedicated to providing you with the best quality images. Be sure to check out the blog section of this website, where you can see the latest work.
On your special day we like to shoot candidly, capturing genuine emotions. We prefer not to be overly invasive, allowing the bridal party to relax and enjoy the day. Gone are the days of cheesy staged photography. We are all about capturing personalities, interactions and atmosphere. To do this we prefer to shoot from a distance, using fast lenses with minimal flash. Our service is friendly, professional and affordable.
We are happy to document your entire day, from the morning preparations, through to the final stages of your reception. We don’t believe in staging pretend cutting of the cake to get an early mark!
We pride ourselves on our stunning post-processing skills, giving each photo individual treatment. After each wedding, we supply all images on DVD in print-ready resolution. If you’ve chosen to have an album we give you the freedom to choose which images are included.

Availability and Booking
When inquiring about our services, please let us know the date your wedding is on so we can confirm if we are available. We are happy to meet with you at our studio to show you our latest work. We believe in showcasing a complete wedding because while it is easy to display a few shots from every wedding, only an experienced and talented photographer is able to have a high standard of photography in every image of a wedding day.
Videography
James Bennett Photography is also well known for quality videography as an optional extra.
Check List
When selecting your wedding photographer there are several questions to keep in mind:
Are all the photos supplied high resolution?
Do the pictures come copyright free?
Is the photographer going to be there for the whole day?
Are the photos going to be individually colour corrected and post processed?
Do you know if the wedding photographer has wet weather contingency plans?
Will you have a pre wedding shoot arranged so you will know what to expect on the day?
