One of my favorite Central Coast wedding photography clients of all time are these guys – their story is below:
They say “When you know, you just know”… and they did. A short 7 weeks after they started dating, Zac skyped his parents who had just moved to England to inform them he was engaged to the girl of his dreams – Hailey. A soccer playing barista with an eye for design and DIY projects, Hailey was the one and that was that.
It happened one sunset, on a quiet Central Coast beach lookout… Zac prepared a picnic of epic proportions, dragged Hailey up a muddy trail and asked if he could call her his wife. She said yes.
This gorgeous DIY queen loved planning their beautiful Central Coast wedding and even designed her own wedding dress and headpiece. Mature beyond their years, the ceremony was simple and effortlessly stylish, taking place in one of the most beautiful Central Coast wedding locations I’ve ever photographed. They were wed in a small clearing in a paddock on a farm and somewhere between the I-do’s and the homemade macaroons I fell just a little bit in love with the two of them.
These days they are self-proclaimed foodies/students who spend their spare time traveling Europe and discovering the Sydney café scene between classes and exams. In fact, when I spoke to Hailey for this blog piece she was still recovering from jet lag, having just returned from Barcelona, Spain (her Christmas present from Zac) where she finally got to put 5 years of Spanish classes to good use.
As far as Central Coast wedding photography goes, this was one was a highlight from 2013. Enjoy 🙂
